The session will take place at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre’s “Stage Under the Stars” in the framework of the 66th Pearle*-Live Performance Europe’s members conference.

What on info-session?

Part 1: Creative Europe’s funding opportunities with Motovila – Creative Europe Desk SI: In the first part, Mateja Lazar and Tanja Kos from the Creative Europe Desk in Slovenia will highlight the various opportunities for artists, cultural professionals, and organisations to engage in cross-border projects. You will discover how Creative Europe can support your initiatives with EU-funded programs and grants, focusing on relevant open calls for the year 2024.
Motovila Institute aims at promoting transnational and cross-sectoral cooperation in the cultural and creative sectors. As part of its support activities, Motovila hosts Creative Europe Desk Slovenia (CED SI), national contact point for Creative Europe, the EU framework programme for the cultural and creative sectors.

Part 2: Perform Europe, a Creative Europe Cultural Mobility Programme: In the second part, we will give to floor to Karen Verlinden, project coordinator of Perform Europe, a European cultural mobility programme supporting innovative ideas to make the international touring of performing arts more inclusive and ecologically sustainable.
Exclusively for Slovenian arts organisations, you will get a preview of the open call, the eligibility criteria and the application process as well as receive guidance on finding international partners.

Perform Europe is a funding scheme for the European performing arts sector, supporting sustainable, inclusive, balanced, and innovative collaboration projects of partners across the 40 Creative Europe countries. Particular attention is given to projects which work with and include underrepresented areas or groups in these countries.
