The Circle of Art is an international festival of visual arts which, in the area of Goriška Brda and the Vipava Valley, has brought together artists from all over the world, winemakers and tourism providers, as well as representatives of various embassies in Slovenia, for a week every year since its foundation in 1997. During the festival, the organiser sets up a residency programme for foreign artists invited from the participating countries. Artists work without a theme, in their own artistic language and concept of work. The created artworks become part of a public-private art collection, which has been under construction since 2011. The collection currently includes 50 artworks by artists from 16 different countries.

The Circle of Art Festival is dedicated to Slovenian and international visual artists and to the general public interested in connecting with international artists.
