City of Books Festival and Carinarnica cultural check-point invite you to a very special literary residency in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, as part of the “Twenty Something” program of the Nova Gorica 2025 – European Capital of Culture for the year 2023, on the theme “Visible and Invisible”.
Who is the 12-day residency for: Writers, poets, essayists and engaged journalists between the ages of 20 and 29 from the following countries: Slovenia, Italy (FriuliVenezia Giulia, Veneto, South Tyrol, and Emilia-Romagna only), Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, and Germany (Chemnitz and surroundings only).
Organizators offer: Travel expenses up to € 300 (up to 650 km, use of train (2nd class) or bus is compulsory, except for the people with disabilities), accommodation, and pocket allowance for daily expenses (€ 40/day).
Application deadline: 10 June 2023.
