The Creative Europe Desks from 13 countries together with the Executive Agency EACEA invite you to the European NEWS Pitch for projects that seek funding from the Creative Europe call “News – Journalism Partnerships”.
About the Call for proposals:
In the framework of the Creative Europe cross-sectoral call “NEWS – Journalism Partnerships” (CREA-CROSS-2022-JOURPART, deadline 2022, 7th of September), the European Commission invites public and private media outlets (incl. written/online press, radio/podcasts, TV, etc.) and a diversity of news media organisations from different European countries to foster their collaborative business transformation and collaborative journalism projects. Proposals should involve as many news media as possible, to benefit the wider European news media community.
“Pitch for projects: News – Journalism Partnership” Event
WHEN: Friday, 1st of July 2022, 10am-1pm CEST
WHERE: Online via Zoom
WHAT: 13 projects from all over Europe will be presented. Each pitcher will have 5 minutes to present his/her project + 2-3 minutes Q&A with the audience.
Th event is organized by the Creative Europe Desks from Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
You can apply with a project yourself or register to take part in the audience and become a partner for one of the projects:
– Apply with your project by 15th of June* HERE.
– For participants who would like to attend the pitching session only as observer, they can register before the 30th of June HERE.
