How can the cultural and creative sectors promote, shape and drive the green transition? This question will be addressed at the international conference GreenCultureCon: From Creative Vision to Systemic Change, which will take place on 17 September 2026 at the HNK2 venue in Zagreb.

The conference will present culture not only as a sector that adapts to sustainable development policies, but also as a key player in shaping values, raising awareness and driving social transformation. Through examples of good practice, practical tools, policies and cross-sectoral cooperation, it will demonstrate how culture can foster responsibility, influence public discourse, and connect and mobilise communities for a more sustainable future.

The conference is organised by the Creative Europe – Culture Desks in Croatia, Cyprus, France, Ireland, Hungary, Portugal and Slovenia, in collaboration with the Croatian national contact point for the CERV programme and the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.
