The Creative Europe MEDIA Desks from Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, in cooperation with the Film Center of Montenegro, Arts Council Malta and the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations in Cyprus, are organising a workshop called “Let’s pitch some shorts!”, which will culminate in the Pitching Forum.

The workshop will offer guidance to professionals, primarily directors and screenwriters, providing appropriate answers to questions about the most effective ways to prepare and present their projects to industry professionals—producers, distributors, sales agents—as well as to the wider public—the audience.

The workshop is intended for film professionals and film students, primarily directors and screenwriters, focusing on short fiction film projects.

Up to 10 projects will be selected from Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia (one from each country).

The workshop will take place from June 15 to June 17, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Vern’ University, and the final Pitching Forum will be held on June 18 at 10:30 AM at Kaptol Cinema Boutique in Zagreb. The entire workshop will be held in English.
