They will welcome applications from candidates from different stages of their careers and backgrounds, with <strong>a focus on care giving in visual arts, cultural theory, performance and curating<\/strong>. The residency period lasts 35 days (days of travel not included) and we will be hosting <strong>5 residents<\/strong> in the same period of time.<\/p>\n<p>GuestRoomMaribor will accept artists working in various fields of visual, performative and relational art &#8211; painting, drawing, photography, video art, graphic arts, digital arts, sculpture, site specific practices, relational aesthetics, community arts and performing arts, curation.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be <strong>legal residents of one of the Creative Europe countries beyond Slovenia<\/strong>: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Ukraine; including the Overseas Countries and Territories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for applications: 10. 10. 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For further information, see <a href=\"https:\/\/guestroommaribor.22slides.com\/funded-residencies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The residency project Constructing Care is in preselection process for Creative Europe funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Open for artists working in various fields of visual, performative and relational art.
