The vision of the institute is to, throughout a variety of cultural-educational programs and activities, function as a cultural catalyst connecting the local community with expert and general public. The connections would be established based on specific interest field, strategic and general interest.

Work of Cultural residency Podlog pod Bohorjem is organized in three areas:
– Artistic residence with international guest-artist residence program
– Think-tank with focus on knowledge-development and capacity building in local, regional and international environment
– Impact on local and region through development of sustainable cultural tourism destination and networking in international environment
